Q: How are Coronado Stone made?

A: Coronado hand selects and shapes the natural counterpart (stone or brick) and then produces a composite mold of that stone or brick down to the faintest detail. Reproduction of the natural counterpart is achieved by casting the mold with the masonry mixture mentioned earlier. Even up close these replicas look and feel just like the natural counterpart.

Q: Will the same piece be seen repeatedly in applications?

A: Coronado chooses hundreds of different stones to obtain a full pattern. Each piece is then hand colored so that no two stones look the same.

† top

Q: Will Coronado Products fade?

Some fading is inherent with any product facing years of exposure to the elements. However, no undesirable change in color has been noticed even in harsh climates.
